Janne Haaland Matlary ( Malen, Noruega,1957) Profesora de Política Internacional en la Universidad de Oslo. Fue Secretario de Estado en el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de 1997 a 2000. Experta en temas de defensa, OTAN, Naciones Unidas, la Unión Europea como sistema político y los derechos humanos. Consejera del Consejo Pontificio para la justicia y la paz y del Pontificio Consejo para la familia. Fue representante de la Santa Sede en la Cuarta Conferencia Mundial de la Mujer en Beijing. Es autora de numerosos artículos y libros sobre política y defensora de un nuevo feminismo. El tiempo de las mujeres: Notas para un nuevo feminismo. El amor escondido.
